Some Daddiesillustrated by Javiera Maclean Alvarez, Beaming Books, May '22,  celebrates the incredible diversity of modern fathers. It's a fun-filled exploration of what daddies do and are. Every daddy is different—and that makes them even more special! Readers will get a glimpse of the endless possibilities masculine love offers. With energetic and captivating art, it's the perfect gift for a new dad, Father's Day, or any occasion for parents and educators to read with their kids.

Trucker Kidillustrated by Russ Cox, Capstone Editions, January 2023is the story of Athena, who is proud of her truck-driving father but misunderstood by her classmates for her love of all things trucking. In addition to highlighting an often overlooked career, this book shows how attitudes can be changed through education. Athena explains about trucking and they listen and understand, rather than making fun of her.

Cold Turkey is "Told in rhyme, this story features the concepts of friendship, sharing, and problem-solving. It’s a riotous read-aloud, packed with entertaining alliteration, onomatopoeia, and puns.... With a generous spirit and happy ending, this entertaining read-aloud is a worthy addition to preschool classrooms and early childhood library collections."―School Library Journal

The Big Scream is for Toddler-PreS –Big emotions can be hard for little ones to understand. This developmentally appropriate board book meets toddlers where they keep their feelings and does a spectacular job of tackling the topic with sparse text and vivid illustrations. A young boy is having a hard morning after realizing there are no more cookies left in the cookie jar. “Uh-oh! Big cry/ Can’t stop Toys fly/ Can’t breathe Fists Pound/ Big wail Kick ground.” After a time-out with deep breathing and counting to ten, a hug and big love make it all better.
