Dracut native April White is returning to the Merrimack Valley to launch her new book, The Divorce Colony: How Women Revolutionized Marriage and Found Freedom on the American Frontier.
Lowell author Zito Camillo will read his two recently published children’s books: The Buffoon Balloon, and Dragon, Do You Believe It. The books are about love overcoming bullying.
Zito Camillo is from Brazil. After earning a Bachelor degree in Literature in Brazil he danced with the Sao Paulo School of Ballet. Now living in Lowell, he studied English as a Second Language at the Abisi Adult Education Center of the Lowell Public Schools.
After more than 2 years off, it's time to get back out there and read our poetry, share our stories, and speak into the microphone and share with each other. Come down to lala books to take part in the open mic on June 1st.
We will be focusing on Spoken word — poetry, storytelling, and the like, and all sorts of writers are encouraged to participate.
