We will donate 100% of the income from USED BOOKS today to the Lowell Parks & Conservation Trust

This is a great weekend for USED BOOKS - shop the Friends of the Pollard Memorial Library and lala books and support 2 great causes while picking up some summer reading.

We're teaming up with our friends at Warp & Weft for a fun afternoon of PRIDE books and stories.

Schools and public libraries are facing more and more challenges with folks demanding that books be pulled from shelves. Most of the complaints are against books featuring LGBTQ+ characters, or books that recognize systemic racism, or books that challenge the status quo in some way.

At lala books, we believe in the freedom to read. We strive to curate a selection of books that meets the reading needs of our community. There are some books we decide not to order to keep on our shelves, but we will always get a book for you if we can.
